Our extremely comfortable self catering cottages are in a tastefully restored farmhouse and steading with stunning views across Glenlivet to the Glenlivet distillery, one of many on the Speyside Malt Whisky Trail. Sample whisky nosings and tastings in Dufftown, enjoy historic Scottish castles, idyllic fishing villages or beautiful empty beaches in Speyside and Moray. In summer enjoy sunshine, wildlife, castles, whisky, walks and mountain biking in Glenlivet in the Cairngorms National Park. The walkers right were enjoying walking between the Conval Hills to Dufftown during the Whisky Festival and enjoyed a "dram" on the way! There are newly opened mountain bike trails in Glenlivet. There are great opportunities also for wildlife watching as buzzards and kestrels nest in the area and roe deer are seen on the local roads and Red deer can be seen in Glenlivet. You can enjoy a wonderful holiday in the remote wilderness area of the Cairngorms National Park. In spring - watch the lambs gambolling in the fields; in summer walk on the moors enjoying the purple of the heather or in autumn - walk by our many rivers and lochs, enjoying the autumn colours. In winter - photograph the snow on the mountains and frost on the trees or try sledging, ski-ing or snowboarding at the Lecht ski resort. All times are ideal for walking by the rivers Livet, Avon or Spey or cycling on the way marked trails on the Glenlivet estate and in the Cairngorms National Park.

Highland Games Gordon Castle, FochabersThere are excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing on the Glenlivet Crown Estate, golfing at Dufftown and Ballindalloch, fishing on many rivers and lochs, and for touring the castle trail (Balmoral, Brodie, Ballindalloch, Crathes, Walkers coming down from the Conval Hills, Dufftown Dunottar and more); the coastal trail from beaches at Nairn, Findhorn, Roseisle, Burghead, Hopeman, Lossiemouth, Spey Bay along to Cullen and the whisky trail with free tours and “a wee dram” at the Glenlivet and Glenfiddich in Dufftown with a further 8 distilleries offering tours and tastes.

Relax while driving on quiet roads off the beaten track in Speyside and Moray. Speyside is an ideal location for visits to castles, distilleries or the coast.
